Category Archives: The Road To Me Monday

I have decided to make Monday “The Road To Me” day. I will post a picture from the Road To Me and discuss how it relates to me, a family member, a friend, or myself.

Youre Beautiful Monday

Youre Beautiful Monday

Everyone is beautiful in their own way. This is something that I work on everyday. In today’s society, we don’t tell each other enough how beautiful we are; on the inside. I know, for me, many times, I have a hard time accepting this. I have to convince myself of this so much! Having a positive attitude plays an important role to realizing, accepting, and embracing this premice. People think “beautiful” and automatically, our outer appearance is what people associate with beauty. This makes me sad. If we all would contend that “beautiful” is more importantly meant for the inside, there are many people that would realize their true potential while others may slow their lose their snobbery that tends to come along with thinking about “physical beauty”. My hope when I read this positively beautiful picture is that someday, we all will change the perception of what beautiful respresentes – our inner soul and the way we treat other people. To me, that is the true definition of being beautiful

Today Was The Day Monday

Today Is The Day

This one is a hard one for me. I am a creature of habits, both good and bad habits. Making such a big promise to myself is a contemplation at this point. I just know if I am ready to do that yet or if I am even capable. This goal is one that I will have to create very SMART goals about and work on during a very specific time. Oh Lord, see; a creature of habit even as I plan to live with more intention. What are your hardest habits to break? Let me know in the comments section below.

A Loving Heart Monday

A Loving Heart Monday

What compassionate traits that we all should strive to reach! I treat others as I wish to be treated and I love in the same manner. I am not a greedy person, and people that know me well enough will tell you that I am the exact opposite in that I tend to take on more than I should because it is in my nature. It truly is a selfish thing, believes it or not. Helping others and going through life with a lovely heart makes me a better person. I can get up in the morning and go to bed at night knowing that I did something good for someone that day. I like to help people; maybe I use it to validate my worth. That being said, who cares as long as that person gets what they need and I feel good about myself in the process? What is your internal process for feeling better when times are low?

Turn It All Around Monday

Turn It All Around Monday

If this wasn’t one of the hardest lessonsI learned. But it was all worth it because now, looking back I can honestly say that I view every second of each day as a chance to turn things around. I am always looking for people who are like-minded, passionate, compassionate, friendly, and willing to give as much as receive. How often do you look at difficult times as another chance to turn things around? Would you share your story with me below in the comments section?
